Welcome to Hour of Code
Wallingford-Swarthmore School District joins schools worldwide in participating in Hour of Code, a global initiative during Computer Science Education Week every year that provides coding opportunities for students. During the week, students are introduced to various coding activities. Since its launch in 2013, Hour of Code has worked with its partners and hundreds of educators across the world to bring expanded learning opportunities and access to computer science education to classrooms.
This year Hour of Code will take place in our three elementary schools from December 4th-8th with the help of Strath Haven High School students and parent volunteers!
