At the November 18th School Board meeting, the Board passed a resolution to adapt a draft of the 2025-26 school calendar. A copy can be found here.

Any revisions will be made prior to the December 16th Board meeting when a final calendar will be approved.

The calendar includes:

• 177 elementary school days.

• 181 secondary school days.

• 192 contractual days for teachers.

• The first day of school for teachers is Tuesday August 19, 2025

• The first day of school for students is Monday August 25, 2025.

• The last day of school for students is Friday June 12, 2026

• The last day of school for teachers is Monday June 15, 2026

• Winter break begins with an early dismissal on December 23, 2025, and ends when students return on Monday January 5, 2026.

• Spring break will begin at the end of the day on Friday March 27, 2026, and ends when students return on Monday April 6, 2026.

• Professional Development Days for teachers have been scheduled around weekends.

This is the first draft of the calendar. The final draft will be presented to the school board for approval at the December 16^th Board meeting. If you would like to submit a comment about the calendar, you can complete this form. Please send comments no later than Friday December 6th.

Calendars require a balance of state mandated requirements, collective bargaining agreement requirements, and many requests from staff and parents. Thanks for everyone’s patience as we begin to plan for next year.
