The Board recognizes that each student's mode of dress and grooming is a manifestation of personal style and individual preference. The Board requires that all students wear appropriate and respectable dress while attending school. It is also necessary that students dress appropriately and respectably when attending or participating in any school sponsored activity. Clothing and accessories shall conform to the boundaries of decency as defined by the community’s standard, shall not be disruptive to the educational process, nor considered a health or safety risk [from School Board Policy 221, “Dress and Grooming”, adopted December 4, 2006]
