About the Artist
President & Chief Designer of Crystal Signatures
Peter Wayne Yenawine is known for his sculptures in crystal and other media such as gold, silver and stainless steel. For seven years, Peter was a Master Designer at Steuben Glass, and since that time has had designs created by most of the major international crystal and art glass houses: Baccarat, Daum, Orrefors, Rosenthal, Nachtmann, Cristalleries de Saint Louis, Val St. Lambert, Lenox, Steuben and Swarovski.Private commissions are a particular favorite of Mr. Yenawine. One-of-a- kind sculptures present a wonderful opportunity to create something truly personal for the recipient.
Mr. Yenawine has been on the Board of Visitors of the College of Visual & Performing Arts at Syracuse University in New York. He has served on the Board of Directors of the Community Art Center in Wallingford, Pennsylvania, as well as the Arts Council of the Wallingford-Swarthmore School District.
Mr. Yenawine has been bestowed with many awards, including the George Arents Pioneer Medal by Syracuse University for excellence in the field of design and the Collector Editions Award of Excellence. Whether by gift or private commission, Yenawine's designs and one-of-a-kind sculptures reside in private as well as museum collections throughout the world.
